Rick passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on 3rd Febraury 2021, aged 82 years. Devoted husband to Ann, much loved dad to Jonty, loving father in law to Arri, treasured grandpops to Ewan and a special friend to many.
Due to the covid-19 restrictions, only thirty mourners will be allowed into the Crematorium Chapel. These mourners will be contacted directly by the family.

We feel very honoured and proud to be able to call Rick our loved and respected friend.
Remembering when 3 of us went twice to the Le Mans 24 hour race in Rick's Aston Martin which was great fun and also time-keeping for him in his Formula Ford days. Living in Yoxall Lester's Garage was a prominent feature and you were always welcomed by Rick's smile and his friendly and pleasant ways which were treasured and always will be.
You will be sadly missed Rick by all who knew you and our sincere sympathy and love goes to Ann, Jon, Arri and all the family.
REST IN PEACE RICK.

I only knew uncle Rick for too brief a time through my marriage to Steve but he was always a lovely gentle man to all those he met and befriended. Rick has left a huge hole in everyone’s lives but will be forever in our hearts. I cannot make the funeral but will give my respects from afar.
