Ruth Helen West Nee Taylor
Very sadly passed away peacefully at home with her family on Thursday 11th February 2021 aged 68.
Very loving Wife to Clive, wonderful Mum to Abbi a loved Mother in law to Jake, and a special friend to many. The family are holding a private funeral service. No smart dress please. Goodbye my dear friend from Redland College. We spent hours in your room playing Layla and After the Goldrush. Plenty of good advise, plenty of giggles! I can’t believe you’ve gone and regret not seeing you in Bideford. Love you girl!

Ruth, I loved your straight talking, sage advice. My life would have been so different if I hadn't listened to you, my life has been so much happier because I did! In memory of lovely Ruth. She was kind, funny, caring and when I was young, I thought she was the most beautiful bride I had ever seen :-) We love our meet ups each year during our family holiday in Bude, and this year, there is going to be a massive hole. Duckpool will always be a special place and we have so many happy memories there – even though the weather was not always kind to us!
