Ian 'Billy' Butcher'. Sadly passed away after a short illness on February 4th 2021, with his partner Lynn and his son Micheal by his side. He was a beloved Partner, Father, Grandad, Son, Brother, Uncle and a Friend to many. He was a private man, but yet had the presence to capture any room that he walked into. He grew softer with age, especially after the arrival of his grandchildren. He always loved his walking adventures and rounds of golf every week. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but he always said he would rather die young and happy, than old and miserable. Rest in Peace Billy – Take it Steady Dad! If you would like to join Ian’s Family at the Funeral via video link, please email jennifer@theva-hub.com and the details will be shared with you.

Dear Billy shocked at your passing. You were a good friend to many. Always helpful and cheerful. Known from around 83/84 from our Listers days. You did so much for the business saving lots of money, a true company man. You came to all our ex work meets ups. Certainly never forgotten, always in our thoughts. To Lynn devastating for you, yes you were a great couple and deserved a happy retirement together. To Michael and Michelle and family so sorry for you, he really was a special person to many. In different times may have been 100 to 150 attending the funeral. Billy old mate RIP xx

Dearest Billy. For 38 years you have been in my life and my family’s. Every family or Listers memory you were part of. I have so many memories of you. Your huge kind heart and your big sausage fingers. Thank you Billy for always being there. For everything you have done for me and my family, but mainly for making my Mum so happy. You were so perfect together. My mum is truly heartbroken. Take care Billy x x. And thank you.

I was lucky enough to have known you Billy, and have some great memories to which I thank you. From my 1st proper car the Red calibra, to the many memories of you as a boss. Not to forget the time you rescued us and the speedboat from Felixstowe. Another Legend lost! RIP my friend. Xxx
