Like most that knew Paul, I was shocked and saddened by the awful news of his passing. I worked with him (and for him) for 8 years and I will always remember his sense of humour, infectious enthusiasm and energy, his intelligence and his ability to see a way through any obstacle. He was taken far too soon and will be sorely missed. My thoughts and condolences are with Paul's family.

I have known you for a shade under thirty years, so that's virtually all my adult life. Despite the sad ending of our marriage you were always there for me, and I always considered you a form of stability in my life and were there for me when I needed a friend.

You were a fantastic father, no little girl could have asked for more and you passed onto our daughter Saskia a love of sailing and cooking.

Actually, I still cannot believe you have left, but I do believe you are drinking a pint of Doombar upstairs in the "great bar in the sky" . I will miss you.

Having said the lovely part I would also like to say you are not forgiven for the following:
Spoiling our daughter rotten.
Encouraging her to call me "the dragon" and ....
ultimately for passing on your passion for Dr Feelgood !!

I donate £53 to the RNLI for every year that you lived.

Tania x

I still can't believe that Paul is no longer with us. He was one of the world's true Gentlemen. He was full of class and he had an infectious smile which he always wore even when he was angry or upset. It was a pleasure to have worked with him.

Sad to hear about Paul, a great friend and work colleague for 25 years to me. He will be missed by many at Sperry / Halliburton.'s offices. worldwide. A legend gone too early and my sincere condolences to all his family.

Still in shock that Paul is no longer with us, its hard to believe that after 25 years he won't be walking in to my office again or we won't be sharing a pint or two together. Paul was one of, if not the most intelligent men I've ever met, yet he always had time for everyone ... work really won't be the same without him...

I will always have fond memories (and quite a few hazy ones as well!) of the many nights out we shared over the years, he was a true friend who will be very sadly missed ...

My thoughts are with Saskia and his family...

I was both shocked and saddened to learn of the loss of Paul. He was a much respected colleague and Paul was very supportive when I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 2011. I always wanted to sail and the brief but numerous conversations we had about his favourite hobby while making a brew will be one of my best memories. My sincere condolences go to his family.
