In loving memory of Philip Rowberry who sadly passed away on 29th December 2020.

Phil was a devoted Dad to Jake and Alex (and Dexter) and much loved partner of Jenny.

A resident of Essex for the last 17 years, Phil was born in Epsom, Surrey the youngest of three children. He grew up in West Ewell. Phil started work in the travel industry for Thomas Cook but it wasn't long before he fulfilled his long held ambition to become a Police Officer. After working as a Special Constable Phil joined the Metropolitan Police Force full time before moving to Essex. Later promoted to Detective Sergeant, Phil spent almost 30 years in the force.

Phil shared his love of archery with his two sons and was a member of Rayleigh Town Archery Club.

Phil was a gentle giant, whose smile, laughter and kindness will be missed by all who knew him.

A big man with a big heart, genuinely one of the nicest and kindest men you could ever meet. With a disarming smile and an unforgettable sense of humour, Phil was always a joy to walk with our furry boys, Dexter and Hector. RIP Phil, sleep well x
