Having had surgery yesterday, I am so sorry I couldn’t be at Stowmarket today - but I have just shared the service with you on YouTube. Jack’s love of so many joys of living and his ordinariness - whilst having the ability to touch with love the lives of those around him made him an extraordinary man, minister, husband, father , grandad and friend. God Bless you Jack, I miss you and thank you for illness bravely born and an example of good living to us all Stella

I will really miss you uncle Jack, great memories of playing board games with you as a child when the other grown ups wouldn't play, you never let us win though, you were more competitive than we were. God bless. Rest in peace. xx

A wonderful man that will be missed! I'll always remember your amazing fish tank when you lived in Bolsover.

Jack was my minister at Alan Road and Baptised me at the age of 20, allowing me to have it during our Friday Youth Club session that I was a leader at. He also received me into membership at Alan Road and I will always be thankful it was him that officiated. Jack (and Mary) were an important part of the Alan Road family and were loved by us all. A wonderful man who will be greatly missed.
