We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's sudden passing. Julie and I will keep happy memories of chats in the warm Malta sun watching cricket and between innings where you umpired so efficiently. Heaven has gained a true gentleman.

A truly lovely man. I worked my first shift on an ambulance with Mike many years ago. He was so kind and patient. RIP Mike.

Seems like only yesterday we chatted about Malta. It was not long ago he shook his head when I asked for an LB and raised his finger when I missed a straight one ! A true gent if ever there was one. You are going to be missed my friend.

Said it before and I will say it again .. a true gent.

My husband and I met Mike and Joyce in Luxor, when they were here on holiday 2003. Such a lovely, happy couple.
We were so, so sad when we heard the news. Still can't believe it. Mike will be always in our hearts.
Our deepest condolences and prayers for Mike's loved ones - family and friends.

Rest in peace, Mike.
