Sarah Roxanne Stevenson (20 Mar 1982 - 14 Nov 2020)

In loving memory of Sarah Roxanne Stevenson who sadly passed away on 14th November 2020.

She was a beautiful person, a fantastic daughter and sister. One of the worlds true fighters, I'm so proud to be able to call Sarah our daughter/sister. The strength and determination she showed throughout her life was nothing short of extraordinary.

20 years ago when she was first diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy we didn't know how long Sarah's journey would last I'm so glad we got those 20 years as much as we all wish that would have been longer.

I'm sure anyone who has known Sarah for any length of time has at one point or another been on the wrong side of her and boy did she let you know which side you were on when you were in the bad books. However, I think that was a positive, it was that strong willed, single mindedness that allowed her to give the good fight.

She maybe gone but she will most definitely never be forgotten.

As the numbers are tight I would love for everyone to use this space as an opportunity to share any memories of Sarah so they can live on in our collective memory, Jane and I would love to here and/or see them.

The funeral is at York Crematorium 11:00 am Thursday 3rd December 2020.

The maximum number of attendees are 18, so we'll try to contact all people who we think Sarah would like to attend.

St Leonard's Hospice did such a wonderful job looking after Sarah both times she was in there and also as an out-patient. There is a link on this page to denote via just giving, we are aiming for £500, I'm sure you'd all agree they do such an amazing job in palliative care.
