In loving memory of Amelia "Amy" Buff who sadly passed away on 31st October 2020

My mother, Amy, was a warm, compassionate and loving beautiful person who always went out of her way to help others – no matter what, which was one of the reasons she became a State Registered Nurse. She was a proud and dignified woman with a sense of fashion, who had a passion for life. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a wicked twinkle in her eye which endeared her to everyone she came into contact with, yet she could also be very stubborn and always told it how it was.

Mum is survived by two children Barbara and Brian, was a Grandmother to Jason, Gavin, Lindsey and Millie and had seven great grandchildren - Elsie, Sid, Sadie, Saskia, Alfie, Phoebe and Georgia.

I love you so much, Mum, and will miss you more than words can say.

Goodnight sweetheart, sleep tight, you will be sadly missed by so many

All our love

your loving family xx

I met Amy and Barbara sone 10/12 years ago through my job.
We quickly developed a relationship that led to a strong friendship based on so many things that we had in common. Her Irish traits so similar to both of my parents of the same generation... born in Ireland and said it as it was, no messing and strong opinions. But so hardworking and dependable, always there to support no matter what and family first and foremost. A state registered nurse, never just a nurse as was my mom too, so proud to be on the SRN Register and her complete zest for life, as my parents were too. Then of course her love of cruising , my passion also... we spent lots of time just chatting with so much in common. A beautiful woman who I am so pleased I had the pleasure of getting to know. RIP Amy you will be missed x

Looking back Aunty Amy and my Mum (Sue) I believe, had a lot in common, they both seemed to have a little devil hidden inside somewhere and every now and again it would just pop up and let its self be known. In my Mum’s house I remember seeing a photo of them together when they were both very young, well maybe that bond started early in their lives. Every time we mentioned the photo, Mum would always tell us a different story of how they both had a lot of fun growing up together and how they covered things up for one another.
We will always have fond memories of you.

The photo I have posted is when Amy and Barbara were in Sydney, I think it matches the occasion,” Cheers Aunty Amy”.
