Thank you for all the times you had to step up and be the father figure I needed during my childhood. Now that you're a Pokemon Go expect, after Jared sat talking your ear off before, you can tell Grandma all about it.
RIP Grandad and give Grandma a big hug and kiss from me and my boys.

Chocolate and biscuits on the coffee table, you feeding my kids choc ices when I say no more sweets, me falling to sleep while you watch snooker or bowls and you slipping me money in the mornings on my walk to school (don't worry I still haven't told the cousins ;)) and of course telling each and every one of us we're your favourite.

There are so many memories that I will keep with me and not one of them is negative.

It's still unreal, it will never be ok but knowing that you are with Grandma brings me a little bit of peace.

You have made a huge impact on who I am as a person. You are and always will be loved.

Thank you for the memories, thank you for the laughs, thank you for being my Grandad.

Grandad this is the hardest goodbye our hearts are broken but our memories of you will live on, you was 1 in a billion. your now reunited with the love of your life Grandma xx A poem I came across xx

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn't make you stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Granddad, the most strongest and funniest man that anyone would have ever met. You were always there to listen to everyone ramble on about their life, frustrations and their ups and downs. You always made people laugh and smile with your sense of humour. Everyone will miss you but we know that you are finally happy and reunited with the love of your life who you have been missing all those years. I'm proud to be your granddaughter, I will always remember you. Say hello to Grandma for us, we know you two will keep an eye on us. I love you both.
