Fond memories of digging for antique bottles with Polly near Marlborough, and evenings in the Bear in Chippenham.
Sincere condolences to Jeannie and family.

I am so sorry to hear about Malcolm, Jeanne. It's a long time since I have seen him but he was a real Chippenham legend and will be a great loss to the family.

The mould was certainly broken with Polly - a true one-off! He was a gentle giant of a man and always a pleasure to be with, never more so than on the Weds Club visit to the Munich Oktoberfest in 2006 - a wonderful occasion which will forever live on in our memories! People under-estimated Polly at their peril - he had the strength of an ox coupled with a fierce intellect and would never give in! You were always great company and fun Polly - RIP.
