Fond memories of digging for antique bottles with Polly near Marlborough, and evenings in the Bear in Chippenham.
Sincere condolences to Jeannie and family.

The mould was certainly broken with Polly - a true one-off! He was a gentle giant of a man and always a pleasure to be with, never more so than on the Weds Club visit to the Munich Oktoberfest in 2006 - a wonderful occasion which will forever live on in our memories! People under-estimated Polly at their peril - he had the strength of an ox coupled with a fierce intellect and would never give in! You were always great company and fun Polly - RIP.
