In loving memory of Louis Hirshall who sadly passed away on 28th August 2020. Husband, father, brother, cousin, uncle and friend died at QEUH on Friday 28th August after a very short sudden admission. Louie was the youngest of 8 brothers and sisters and met his wife Marie in later life. He was looked after by his sisters Betty and Ellen, when their mum died and the niece's nephews and cousins all say the same thing - the jelly and ice -cream was for your uncle Louie and that never changed. That never change after he married mum, still had to have the sweets and ice cream and jelly every night.
Mum and Louie married 36years ago and he not only got a wife but 3 step children; Kerry, Rob and Angelee and later 3 grand children, Emma Marie, Angus and Isla Louise. Not to mention the dogs, first whiskey then whizz.
He had a great relationship with his grand kids, loved their sweets and occasionally shared his. They even gave him a new nickname of snoop dog, thanks to the jewellery.
At their 25th Wedding Anniversary he had the check to say you get less for murder !
It did not matter were we all travelled, Australia, Canada, East Asia, Mediterranean & various cursie's, he never had a holiday unless he had been to Benidorm.
His pleasures were simple, loved mum, his sweets, fish and chips and his bowling. The silly jokes and comments he made, he was always quick with the one liners. He loved a good laugh and tried to be Dean Martin, with his version of little old wine drinker me, usual after he had sampled some of the golden nectar or 3 !
He was telling us all for years I will not be around next year and very sadly that will now be the case.
We have all lost some one very dear to us all, goodbye and all over love we will miss you more than we can say husband, father, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle and friend Loui Hirshall.
