In loving memory of Richard Henry Cannon who sadly passed away on Sunday the 16th of August 2020 aged 88 years.

He leaves his beloved wife Florence, five sons Jason, Kevin, Richard, Marcel and Adrian together with his two Daughters Lizette and Deborah, also his 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Richard was not a man of many words but he made up for that with so much heart and love for his family and friends.

The funeral service on Friday 4th September will unfortunately be a private event. But the funeral cortege will be leaving his home in Queens Road at 11.45 am, feel free to come and line the road to say goodbye. The funeral service will also be live streamed please contact a member of the family if you would like the link.

A Memorial Service and wake will be held at a later date due to circumstances at this time where we would welcome all that knew Richard.

We are asking for family flowers only but if you would like to donate in Richards memory we are collecting for Help for Heroes. Please use the link attached or send cheques directly to AP Mcdonald.

Dad
Those special memories of you will always bring a smile and if only I could have you back and just for a little while and then we could sit and talk again like we used to do and you always meant so very much to me and always will and the fact you are no here you will always cause me pain but you're forever in my heart until we meet again. My mum Eve always had a big soft spot for Uncle Richard, he lived with her for a while when he was younger and mum looked forward to his visits to Earls Court when he brought the coaches up. I remember as a child many visits to the Mobile Home on route to Somerset, lots of laughs, catching up and a lovely tea prepared by Florence. Uncle Richard would give me 50p for sweets ( you could buy loads for that in them days!). Lovely memories.

My memories of Richard are ones where he would always be cracking a joke, yet such a down to earth man.
So sorry he is no longer with us.
Here's hoping you'll be looking down from above with that cheeky old smile of yours.
My best mate's Dad..........you'll be missed.

May you now rest in peace Richard.

It's sad that you have gone, but we are remembering the happy times and memories that you have created, and I have loved and enjoyed every second that we have spent together. All of the silly jokes about anything and everything that made us all laugh will never be forgotten. You will always be with us in the heart and never forgotten. Love and miss you massively.
Love Morgan
