A loving Mother, Nana, Great Grandmother & Friend.
She will be sadly missed and forever be in our hearts and memories.

There will be family flowers only with donations if so desired for Greenacres Animal Rescue c/o E. C. Thomas & Son, Funeral Directors.
Remembering my wonderful loving mother one year on from her passing. She was such an amazing woman, loved by her family & friends. A Campiagner for Animal Rights & an Artist.
Jean & I at a vegan supper, Cumberland, Canada, 2007. I don't know if I've ever met a person who was as driven as Jean to ensure connection to all family - no matter where they were, what continent they were on.
In Comox, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, 2007. My dogs, dwarfing Jean, though she is very game.
Jean & me when she came to visit me in Canada, July 2007. This is in Victoria, BC. She went to so much trouble & expense to visit me after we had not seen each other for over 30 years! Family was so very important to her.
"Tree of Life" one of Jean's paintings she gifted to me, & which I treasure. Her vibrant, symbolic paintings, incorporating her love of Nature, of animals, of the mythical, & the mystical connection between all & all of us.
Thinking of my Mother, always in my heart
