Elsie Shears (23 Feb 1929 - 12 Aug 2020)

In loving memory of Elsie Shears who sadly passed away on 12th August 2020 aged 91

Elsie passed away peacefully surrounded by her three sons, Peter, Ian and David at the Potteries Care home in Broadstone. She was a devoted sister, auntie, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma and great grandma, who lived a life full of fun and laughter. She was a loyal friend, who always had a ready smile, even during her latter years as she battled with dementia. She is now at rest, safe in the arms of Jesus and is reunited with her beloved husband Frank, in a place where there is no more confusion.

Her funeral service is to be held at Poole Crematorium on Friday 4th September, at 14.00 hrs. Regrettably due to Covid-19 restrictions this will have to be limited to immediate family members only, however we will be planning a thanksgiving service for her life, hopefully in the spring once the restrictions are lifted.
