In loving memory of Joseph Siddall who sadly passed away on 7th August 2020 aged 73 years. This kind, generous, humorous man touched our lives with his presence and we are forever changed by his gifts to us. I take consolation knowing that he is at peace with his Lord.

We were so sad to hear of Joseph's passing. Our live and prayers Louise.

Joe was so warm, witty, and professional in what he did, and he did so much for Nettleham, which he and Louise retired to some 15 years ago. Joe was a great friend and colleague to me, and served on the Nettleham Parish Council for almost 8 years.

Nettleham owes Joe a great debt of gratitude for the many voluntary hours he devoted in the service of the community. Among his many achievements can be listed greatly enhanced play facilities for our children, which included the skate park, the multiuse games area and finally the involvement in the enhanced play equipment at Bill Baileys. His major contribution to the Nettleham Neighbourhood Plan and Parish Plan work cannot be underestimated. He was also the main driver in getting traffic speed monitors installed in Nettleham, as well as making a major contribution to updating the village hall as part of the Village Hall Committee.

For me he was a major support on the Parish Council as my vice chairman. I could always rely on his good common sense, professionalism, and wry humour to deal with difficult situations and it was a sad day when he had to step down due to ill health. He will be greatly missed by so many, and I feel proud to have been able to call him my friend.
