Dear David our friendship goes back to our childhood back in Goldsmith walk you lived at No. 16 and I at No.22 through out the years we had much fun and laughter. As we grew up we always got along and when ever we saw you in town always enjoyed having a chat and laugh. Your death was untimely and you was taken far too soon. It was a massive shame there were restrictions at your funeral because of the covid 19 as the Crematorium would had been completely packed.....that would had proved what a great person you was and well liked and I would had been there on behalf of the Hughes family. Tonight I will be lighting a candle on my prayer table. Rest In Peace David , fly high now you gained your heavenly wings and reunited with your mam and Dad. May God bless you Big Dave,

My thoughts and prayers and sincere condolences goes out to all the Tointon family especially Keith, Ian, Shirly & Susan xx

Gone too soon but never forgotten. Lincoln will be a lonely place without you. No matter where I was in town, I could always hear your laugh from miles away. I’m going to miss you so much.
