In loving memory of Michael Knight who sadly lost his battle with cancer after only four short months. He has left a massive void in our family and will be greatly missed by us all. He was my strength for the past 49 years, and that alone will give me the strength to continue, his loving wife Christine.
Dad to Mandy and Steven, Grandad to Anthony, Alex, Leah and Ellie, and Great Grandad to Riley, Sklylar and Harper.
R I P mick
Love you always x

Michael, you were a true and dear friend, great company, happy friendship, dry humour and always a giver sound advice - especially your advice for a long and happy marriage ... learning to say "yes dear" and nodding in all the right places, it work for you, so hoping it'll work for me! We will both love and miss you always. Will keep an eye on your Christine for you, as we always said we would ... until you're back together again. Kev & Lisa xx

Hey up Michael, I have strict instructions to keep this clean,we'll see how we go.The first time I met you in Turkey was a brief encounter with your very strange motley crew. Apparently it's acceptable to go to bed at 4.30am it must be a Derby thing,Boring B and. We all hit it off instantly and this was the start of an amazing friendship that grew from strength to strength. It was a total honour and privilege to be part of your life.Every monday the deb truck would appear outside my house, where we would put the words to rights and plot our next surprise holiday unknowingly to our victims, and when we rocked up,all the expletives would come out from your motley crew,I've never heard such blue language in my life. There is a tape measure coming up your way so you can keep everything to your millimetre standards,no excuse for you to let them slip. As though that would ever happen on your watch.
I'm so glad I got to see you and spend time with you, which I will never forget. I don't think you realise how many people's lives you touched and how sorely you will be missed by everyone. Love you my friend.
See you next Tuesday michael
