In loving memory of Brian David CHERRY who sadly passed away peacefully at home on 26th June 2020 aged 82 years.

Kelly MCNAMARA donated in memory of Brian

Sending my deepest sympathies, although a little late. I was lucky enough to know Brian when he and I worked at Renslade House. Such a kind man, and so lovely, always found me a space to park if I needed! Sending my best wishes to all of his family x

It was 12 years ago , at the age of 68, I was informed by elderly aunt that I had a twin sister, and Two brothers. . I did not know I had been adopted . . It was my aunt who informed me , that my mother had died giving birth to me and my twin sister . My two brothers were born 3 and 1 year before us. Ron and Brian Cherry. Christine , my twin , and I were adopted to separate families. In 1942 Christine Died n house fire in east London. My father Frederick , was faced with having 4 children within 3 years. This was August 1939, just as war was about to break out. He was also out of work .Times were very hard for him . I was adopted by Leonard and Gwen Poindestre from Cambridge who `I always thought were my parents. Had an extremely good life. You will understand that it was a time of great sadness when my brother Brian died. I have donated £50.

Having found my brother Brian ,only 12 years ago. When I was 68 he 69. It was with great sadness that I lost him . I was one of twins born to our mother in 1939, She died giving birth to us two days later. We were both adopted to different families, My sister died in house fire in North London in 1942.. I had no idea of this and the fact that I had two older brothers . Ronald and Brian. I have been very fortunate to have known and spent much time with both my brothers. In recent years. I only found out about Ron and Brian , thro an Aunt who died just after the disclosure. I have spent may happy times with Brian and Margaret, and he is greatly missed . Lots of love from Jacque and all my family I have already donated £50 to the hospice.
