In loving memory of Jean Alexander who sadly passed away on 24th June 2020 after her 5 year battle with Myeloma Cancer. She passed away peacfully in her sleep and wasn't in any pain throughout her many treatments. Even through all the cancer treatments, she seemed to keep a happy smiling attitude towards life.

She was a loving wife of Clive , loving mother of Richard and Kevin, Mother in law to Marysia and Nikki and Grandmother to Sam, Tim, Stefan and Jamie. Through her life she had many hobbies and interests and will be sadly missed by many people.

My Mum wanted people to wear bright clothes at the funeral and for it too be a happy event. The family would prefer donations to the myeloma charity instead of flowers . There won't be a collection box on the day due to the current Virus rules

Jean x you always inspired me, why? Because you always had a smile for everyone ❤️ I remember seeing you in Wigston when I was working with the kids, even when you were ill, you looked elegant and happy. When I feel down or depressed I will picture your happy smile, it was a privilege to know you xx

I couldn't have wished for a better mother in law, when I married Kevin. She was always welcoming and friendly. She helped out with childcare for us and we had lots of family meals together. The get togethers were always game orientated, which made our Christmas's so much fun. She was a one off and will be sadly missed.

Jean was such a brave lady and always smiling. We have so many fond memories of Jean including the happy, carefree times we spent walking many miles together in the countryside of Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Wales, Norfolk, and Leicestershire. She will be greatly missed.
