He was much loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Sue, son Chris, mother Gill and all his family and friends. Phil will also be greatly missed by all his work colleagues at Alan Greenwood & Sons.

Always so glad to see Phil conducting on ceremonies I was leading. He always had his warming, gentle smile at the ready where appropriate but he was so quietly courteous and unobtrusive with families. He was genuinely humble and selfless to the point that he never even let on that he was ill when we were working together. I can only imagine how much he'll be missed by Gill, Chris, Sue and family but I'm sure the memories of him will go on warming your hearts in time to come.
