In loving memory of Cheryl Moir who sadly passed away on 16th May 2020. Wife to James Moir, they spent the last 30 years together building a loving home for their two children Jessica and Joshua. We are all devastated to lose Cheryl so unexpectedly due to covid-19, she was the cornerstone of our family.

Cheryl was born 14th November 1972, Orsett, Essex to Sheila and Larry Adams. She moved to the Wisbech area as a teenager to live with her mother. This is where she met her husband and they worked hard to buy their first home and start a family. After the arrival of her two children, Cheryl started a career at Tesco which she loved. Cheryl worked at multiple stores across a range of roles but always prided herself in doing her best for her staff and customers. Unfortunately, she was unable to work these last few years due to ill health, but she is still remembered fondly by many she worked with.

Whenever the sun was shining Cheryl could be found out in the garden with James tending to their plants and relaxing with their border terriers Rosie and Hamish. She loved nothing more than a cup of tea and watching the birds that visited their garden. When time permitted Cheryl and James would escape to beautiful corners of the UK in their caravan and trusty Landrover. She passed her love of the outdoors onto her children with regular camping trips. Many fond memories are held by us of the years spent crabbing, having BBQ's and star gazing at night time.

The funeral on Wednesday 10th June will be restricted to just ten guests and family flowers only due to covid-19 but we invite you to donate to Woodgreen Animal Shelter charity if you wish to do so. Please remember Cheryl as we will, a force for good who made us laugh. Who cared deeply for her family and friends and would help any of us; in any way she could.

James, Jessica & Joshua

The bubbly personality you had may lay at peace with you but you left a part of it with everyone that knew you and they will carry that spark around with them and smile and laugh every time they think of it. God bless sweet lady. Xxx

I hadn’t seen Cheryl for several years but remember her well from when Jessica and Joshua attended Trinity Methodist Preschool and from when she worked in Tesco, she was a lovely person and I’m sure she will be sadly missed .
