My lasting memory of Grandma will be her coping with us all at Plash Mill on our childhood summer holidays. I especially loved her onion gravy and milk and biscuits before bed as we didn't get this at home. You'll be greatly missed.

Rest in peace Nannie. My Dad nicknamed Plash Mill 'Narnia' and it always felt such a magical treat to run around your garden. Memories of the dogs, falling in the stream and visiting on Christmas Eve, year after year, with Mum and Dad, to deliver your Red Cross Parcel. Plash Mill was a happy place for all of us, filled with so many good memories and stories. We will miss you very much. tx

Rest in peace Oma. I have many fondly remembered memories as a child and adult of time spent with you.
Telling us about your childhood in Germany will stay with me forever.

  • I once saw a picture like this at your own home and I commented that you were beautiful and looked like a film star.
