Mum had many jobs over her lifetime; sweet factory employee, worked in the Hoover factory, baker in a shop window, bus conductress, weaver, chalet maid, home help, auxiliary nurse, manageress/ owner of a chip shop, and a petrol pump attendant. She did these well but where she excelled was as a mother, gran and great gran.
She was strong, loyal, fair, unselfish, hard working and above all , loving and caring.

Granny was a truly remarkable lady, full of love and it was a true joy to be in her company. She brought light wherever she went. Plus she liked whatever I cooked! "Fine" would be her response, having devoured a plateful! Love you Granny
