Joanie was 12 years older than me and my only sister with 5 brothers. Growing up she was always by my side, loving and caring for me, she was very special to me. The bond we had grew stronger and the love, admiration and memories for my wonderful sister will never fade. I’ll miss you Joanie. God bless and rest in peace, love always, Judi and Colin xxxx

My Auntie Joan was a massive inspiration to me, fiercely strong and independent and a stunningly beautiful woman inside and out who lived her life to the full. I shall miss her hugely but am incredibly grateful for the influence she had on me and the wonderful memories I’m left with.
