Peter was a big part of my life in the seventies (when we worked and socialised together). I still remember with great fondness his humour and generosity, along with many other fine qualities. We shared many special times together, along with a great circle of friends. Peter’s enthusiasm for everything was quite infectious – particularly his love of football and his beloved Plymouth Argyle. I can still remember the trips we made to Home Park with friends and family members - wonderful times indeed. We all enjoyed great fun and laughter playing skittles together. I was so pleased when we managed to reconnect again just under six years ago. Peter touched so many lives and I’m sure we will all hold on and treasure those special memories. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend. xxx

Those days at the Devon and Exeter Savings Bank in Bedford Street during the 1970s will always be fondly remembered and to be a part of that was a privilege.

Despite your awful taste with regard to your favorite football team, you were a good friend back in the mid to late 70's when I had the great pleasure of working with you.
Heartbreaking news. RIP Peter.

Really sad news, I will never forget the time I spent with Pete during our once in a life time trip to Brisbane for the 2007 Ashes cricket. Lots of great memories 5 days watching the cricket in the sunshine at Brisbane to a poignant trip to Steve Irwins Zoo. Pete was great company throughout. RIP.

I remember our friendship when you worked in Exeter and I was in Tiverton - the good old days!
Playing skittles for The Mervyn Cruddies and arguing about City and Argyll. A good friend, with a great sense of humour.
RIP mate.
