In loving memory of Gordon John Loader who sadly passed away at home on 4th April 2020.

Gordon survived Anne, his beloved wife of 60 years by 10 weeks.

As well as the many friends he made over the years he will be sorely missed by his son Antony and daughter Claire along with his five granddchildren whom he was devoted to; Alfie, Lauren, Dominic, Charlotte and Joshua.

Gordon will be cremated at 4.15 p.m. on 6th May 2020 at Surrey & Sussex Crematorium. Unfortunately due to current circumstances attendance is limited to immediate family and it will not be possible to have any additional attendees. The family will be holding a memorial to celebrate Gordon's life at a later date.

Please feel free to leave a comment on this page about Gordon and/or light a candle in his memory.

The family have requested no flowers and have asked that any donations are made to The British Heart Foundation (see link on this page).

We were very fond of Gordon. He and Anne were lovely neighbours at the end of our garden for 20 years. Gordon was a kind, gentle man. We do miss him.

We, together with our extended family members, offer our deepest sympathies to Claire and Anthony and their families, and respect for Gordon and Anne, as honorary members of our family.
He and I shared treasured memories of our walks together over the length of the Greensand Way, except for the home section of Reigate Heath to Earlswood Common. Many of you here were subjects of his appreciative comments along the way. We will think of the few of you who will be present on Wednesday at 4:14 with sadness, but gratitude for the past friendships of Gordon and Anne

On behalf of Redhill Bowling Club may I offer Gordon's family our sincere condolences. Gordon enjoyed the short mat bowls and with Anne joined in many social events at the club. Always friendly and cheerful we will miss them both.
