It's been a long journey, mum, and I have been with you all the way. I hope I lived up to your needs. Now you can rest in peace and you will be with Dennis and Philip again.

Auntie Joan - the longer you lived, the wiser you were. We enjoyed talking with you - especially about the antics of our cats - and hearing your tales of growing up with our Mum who you took such good care of. Our thoughts are with Ken who took such good care of you. Rest in Peace.

With very fond memories of a dear Aunt and Great Aunt. Auntie Joan lived a full and varied life. Most of all I remember her true love of cats and extraordinary stories of life as a Land Girl in The Second World War. We shall miss her humour, kindness and gentle smile. Rest In Peace dear Auntie Joan - a life well lived. With love , Beth, Rob,Ben, Annie & Ella xx
