Came across George’s passing today, so sad to learn this, not seen him since a reunion of Marlborough Road School where I attended. We had a good catch up and he told me that when he was first married he moved into the house on Marlborough Rd, Cheetham hill where my family had lived until we moved to Hattersley which was a new estate in the 60s. George was about 5 years older than me and I always looked up to him , he was a very kind and considerate person and I have many fond memories of when we were young children. So sorry to learn of his passing rest in peace George x

I have been fortunate to know George for 6/7 years , George will be missed immensely by myself & Erin , Erin took a real shine to him , he was always happy to chat and tell her stories with the biggest smile , even on days he probably did not feel his best . I will miss our little chats whilst he was tinkering in the garage .
A lovely kind hearted man.
You can not talk about George without Pauline ,
The Loveliest couple back together again x

We as a family saw first hand how dad battled with the physical, psychological, complex and unpredictable symptoms of Parkinsons; as well as side effects of medication that, at times, were as challenging as the condition itself. From my direct personal experience, dealing with the various health and social care agencies who at one point or another were involved with dad, there is so much to learn and share about the significant effects on the sufferers and those close to them. Going forward I will be looking to play some small part to improve awareness, consideration and treatment of this cruel disease.
