On Sunday 29th March, passed away peacefully at Derriford Hospital, with Ruth at his bedside, aged 78 years.
A devoted husband to Ruth, and a dearly loved father to John, Simon and Helen- a friend to many and a stalwart of Sterts Theatre for many years.
Mick was a dentist by profession with Smellie, Price and Boyles-from 1976 until his retirement. He was a founder member of Sterts Singers, was on the board of Sterts for many years and has performed on the stage countless times especially enjoying his part in Oklahoma and Cornish Phoenix
There will be a celebration of his life at Sterts, for all to attend, later in the year when circumstances allow. Details will be provided nearer the time.
As many of you will know Sterts formed a huge part of Mick’s life-whether on stage , serving at the bar or complaining about the song choices. As such we have decided to collect donations to help raise funds to help them continue with what both Mick-and Ruth -have been so involved with over the years.
