I'll never forget how welcoming and generous Roy was to me when I stayed at his house, had some great times there which I'll never forget. Nor will I forget his snooker lesson, he was a mean player and remarkably competitive at many things like table tennis - even pushing 90. He never seemed his age. A true gent and A total legend. RIP ROY and thanks X

I’ll always remember as a teenager Uncle Roy letting me use his shaver even though I probably didn’t need to. He was one half of a wonderful couple who are now together doing everything they didn’t have time for in this life. Love from Steve.x

Dad, you were so kind, generous and caring, always smiling. You never thought of yourself as old. You taught me so much, how to swim, ride a bike, waltz, play chess, grow roses, put up shelves... you also taught me independence and that age is just a number. I am proud to be your daughter, I'll miss you so much. Lots of love Trish xx
