I only know you through multifarious quizzes, where I can attest, that you did indeed lead the multifariousness of us all, in various deliberations, considerations and judgements, all of which led to yourself being almost invariably correct! Why did we dare to question?? I suppose mostly through feeling the urge to contribute, since you'd have done most of the picture round for us before we'd even stopped yapping to our rivals and actually thought to sit down.

Our table would of course been decorated with a bottle of something nicely tinted, a glass of alternative on ice, though a decent beer could do the job. Always so very enthusiastic, and very clever. Able to share a good joke, but still unswerving from the task. There was the monthly bash, in various Revenue dens, then the 'annual' event at Southwell, even I think once attended by Helen, and sometimes, our team simply pushed the boat out and went 'native', in some creaking establishment around town. Jokers were reserved for literature and history, though not unusually, for 'pot luck', which of course it never quite was.

Thanks for entertaining me, thanks for being a good friend. Will miss you.

Dear Tricia, I didn’t see you often, but it was always good to see you, first at the monthly wine circles and then for meals out around Nottingham, as part of the gang. You survived so much, I thought you were indestructible!

I'll always remember Tricia, but more specifically in the 1980s, when we spent time and a great weekend together in Somerset. She was a friend to everyone, including a little dog who followed her back to our base from a 3 mile walk. We had to take him back in the car to where he started, he was so persistent.

Tricia, you were not only my cousin for 72 years but my best friend. We shared many wonderful and happy times together especially our holidays. So glad we were able to enjoy our cruise to the Mediterranean for our 70th birthdays. I will really miss you. Love from Mary.

We've known each other a very long time as a colleague and sharing a house together with Glenn in London. You always were excellent company and we had many good times together.

With the aptly named quiz team 'Trish and Trash', we all knew who was the best.

You'll be missed by us and many more.
