It is with great sadness that the Metcalfe family wish to announce that on 15th February 2020 after a long, brave battle, Mary aged 78, sadly passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. A dearly beloved wife of Jack, mum to Lynda and Julie, sister to Barbara, mother-in-law to David and Alan, grandma to Chloe, Jonathon, Cameron, Lois and Philip and great grandma to Poppy. The funeral service will take place at Greenmount United Reformed Church on Wednesday 4th March 2020 at 12.30pm followed by committal at the East Lancashire Crematorium, Radcliffe. We would ask all guests to dress smartly perhaps adding a splash of colour. A warm invitation is extended to join the family at Greenmount Cricket Club (BL8 4DX) at 2pm to celebrate Mary's life.
