Nicola passed away after a courageous fight with cancer and fell asleep peacefully on 3rd February 2020, aged 45 years. Nicola was soul mate to her devoted husband Jamie, adored mum to Elsie, beautiful daughter to Linda and Paul, amazing sister to Kelly, much loved auntie to Cameron and Erin, treasured granddaughter to Wilf and the late Pearl, cherished niece, cousin and a true friend to many. No flowers by request please. Donations if desired are invited for 'Macmillan Cancer Support'. Black need not be worn, it would be appreciated by the family, if possible everyone wears a touch of orange. Nicola will forever be in our hearts.
I worked with Nicola In 2006-7 and she was full of life. So many good memories. I was only just learned about Nic's passing as I was trying to connect with previous colleagues. To find this news is heartbreaking. I will cherish our memories and hope Nic's soul RIP. Ameen

I had the privilege to get to know Nicola when she was first diagnosed with her cancer. She thought she was learning and being helped by me , however I found I learnt so much from her. She showed me how to see the positive no matter what life throws at you , she taught me that love is unconditional and always in our power to give. But most of all she gave me the opportunity to watch a true heroine, a lady and a genuine kind and generous soul.

Nicola was a beautiful baby as was her sister Kelly and from a distance I saw them grow into beautiful young ladies. As their neighbour, I held her in my arms after she was born, we’ve moved away a few years later but I never forgot you all. I’m saddened that Nicola has passed away so young and by such terrible destructive illness. My heart goes out to you all, Linda, Paul, Kelly, Nicola’s husband and your families. RIP Nicola x
Dear Twells. What we were to each other we still are. I will smile and laugh when I remember the memories we shared. The champagne that we drank, the holidays we had and the hikes or sightseeing that we definitely ruled out! Each time I make a mojito, your instructions will ring in my ears.
