Jean Vickers Hutchison
13th February 1930 – 29th January 2020

She was a delight to us all and so joyful. She died peacefully in her sleep at St John’s Hospital Livingston. We thank the staff of St John’s for their care and devotion to both Jean and all the family. We mention in particular the team of ward 9, who ensured her days with them were most comfortable and restful. We are grateful. A special mention for Drs Corretge and McCusker who facilitated her ease.

Thanks also to the team at Caley Home Care, to Demi, Marta, Mia, Monica, Tetanya, John and others; also their line managers Lynda and Nile – for their caring and respectful manner, and the link they offered to the outside world in pleasant conversation. Jean found life a pleasure in your company.

Jean would say that Gordon Faulkner, a personal trainer at Blue Banana Fitness, was of immeasurable benefit in keeping both her and Scott strong. She said that he had 'saved their lives'.

Flowers are most welcome; when bound in biodegradable wrappings we can leave them be.
