Margrit Haden from Kings Heath, Birmingham, a loving mother to three boys and grandmother to Odette and Renee has sadly passed away at the age of 66. Maggie worked various jobs throughout her career and formed great friendships while she was there. However, her main focus was her family who she selflessly looked out for along the way. She was a wonderful mother to Joel, Stuart and Ross whom she supported through life with love and kindness, as well as being a cherished sister to her siblings Susette, John, Anita and Karin. Odette and Renee will always remember 'Nanny Mags' for her silly antics and big hugs. Maggie loved sunny holidays (particularly Sorrento, Italy) and an extra-large glass of red wine as well as having an eye for Italian waiters ; ) Sadly she was taken too early following a brave battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed and is much cherished by all who were lucky enough to have known her.

NOTE: Following the funeral service please join us for a drink at Fletchers Bar, 7 York Road Kings Heath to celebrate Maggies life the way she would have wanted - with a large glass of red wine! : )

Oh Maggie, my friend and partner in crime. We met and bonded at Vodafone as we were probably two of the oldest people there. We shared so much there and found we shared a lot of history (even though we did not know each other as teenagers or 20 and 30 somethings. We went to the same pubs and clubs, shared a love of the same music and many more life experiences. We got together again at Severn Trent, and then went our separate ways when they moved to Coventry. You were always up to the changes and challenges life threw at you, and I know you will have fought this last one tooth and nail. I see in my minds eye a gorgeous picture of you when you went on that cruise with Marj, its a great picure and really captured you with that cheeky smile. Together, we laughed till we cried,
and cried till we laughed. We shared good times and sad times but my lasting memories of you will always be the laughs ( and the guessing game of how long Joel would grow his hair). You are a loyal and loving person, and god help anyone that caused any of your lads problems, they then met Maggie the tiger. I cannot think of you in the past tense and probably never will - I just see that smile and the twinkle in the eye whenever I think about you. I learnt a lot from you Maggie and will carry that with me to the end of my days. You are a beautiful human being inside and out and I thank god we met and I had the chance to call you friend. Ross, Stu, Joel and all of your family, thinking of you all.Sue.

Thinking back to my secondary school years, Maggie brings back happy memories. She always opened the door to me, often I’d turn up at her house, looking to see if the boys were home or wanted to come out and play. Maggie worked hard to ensure her boys had everything they needed and more . I can remember she was a strong but very kind lady, you could have a good laugh with her. She was one of those ‘cool mums’ that had fun with you and always had a good old chat with you.
RIP Maggie xx

So sorry for your loss. Maggie (or Nanna Moon as she was affectionately known by us) will be sadly missed. I was fortunate to have had Maggie as part of my team at her last workplace she brought us endless fun and laughter was always the life and soul of the party.
