In loving memory of Paul King who sadly passed away on 17th January 2020 after an 18 month fight against the big 'C' Cancer.
He passed away peacefully after 33 days spent at St. Michael's Hospice. The support and care given to not only Paul, but also those closest to him was second to none and we will be forever grateful. All the staff provided a friendly face and a shoulder to cry on which helped make this difficult time easier to bear.

Join us to celebrate and remember the life of a much loved brother, husband, father, grandad, relative and friend. We will be heading to Dummer Golf Club straight after the service for nibbles and a toast to Paul - Could you please let us know if you are able to join us for the wake so that we can inform them of numbers. Please can you think of a special memory you have of Paul as we would love to record this in a memory book.

Dress Code - Smart but comfortable, we would love it if you could wear something blue (even if this is nail varnish or socks!)

Flowers - As Paul hated waste - Family flowers only, but donations to St. Michael's Hospice would be gratefully received.

I only knew Paul for a short time and wish we met under different circumstances but in the short time that I did know Paul I knew the pain and struggles he went through. It is not easy but Paul did show a lot of courage and strength and kept smiling even on the hardest days I’m sure.
I sat through one round of chemo with my husband Neill, Paul and his lovely wife Jean in which we did enjoy chatting and having some laughs.
I just want to let you know Paul that I am continuing the fight for you with all my strength.
I wake up every morning and I am thankful for another day, I keep smiling and laughing through the pain just like you did because if you stop smiling and laughing you have let the cancer win and with every strength in my body I am determined to not let this happen and I will keep fighting for myself, my family, for you Paul, for Abi and Jean’s family too. Xxx
