About 3-4 years ago my mother lost her wedding ring in the garden. After 66 years of marriage she was distraught at the loss. I searched a number of times, my daughter searched and the neighbour may times. None of us found the ring. Yesterday my brother, William Broughton was preparing a small area, where we will spread her ashes after the funeral next Wednesday. Almost immediately, as he put the hoe into the ground, up popped Mum's wedding ring. It will be replaced onto her finger today. Normally I would say that I don't believe in omens but.........
