In loving memory of our father David Warren who sadly passed away on 4th December 2019.

Our hairy hippy dad was a beautiful soul whose gentle yet irreverent sense of humour touched most if not all who met him. As an Engineer through and through he was most at ease making and doing, but also strummed his guitar and sung folk songs with equal devotion.

We will be holding a Celebration of Life and wake at Tyrrells Wood in Leatherhead. If you would like to join us in celebrating Davids life, information can be found on this page. Please come wearing bright comfortable clothing, as per Dad's wishes.

Instead of flowers, we would like to ask for donations to any of these charities which we feel represent who our Dad was.

We would like to give back to the Alzheimer's Society, after the support they've given us in helping to cope with Dads' battle with the disease.

Our parents believed in helping those who were in difficult and vulnerable situations, and we believe these charities will continue to provide extra support in the spirit of their beliefs.

Buttles UK works with families who are strained, one area in particular is helping young people in crisis, giving them access to emotional support, secure living and steps for how to move forward. Our parents frequently took in young people from all backgrounds and helped them in crisis and this feels like a good gesture to their efforts.

Emmaus specifically supports people working their way out of homelessness, providing training, emotional support and a stable home. Our parents were so kind about those who are vulnerable and in need of love, without judgement. We feel this would do them proud.

Rest In Peace Dad.

Thank you so much David for taking me under your wing when I was 12 years old and needed somewhere safe to go after school and weekends . You gave me a sense of what home life should be like and for that I am forever grateful. You also gave me my first real family holiday. Thank you for my happy childhood memories 😀 You will always be in my heart. Lots of love Paula XXX
