In loving memory of Ian Vaughan McLaren who sadly passed away after a short illness at the Royal Derby Hospital on 4th January 2020, aged 66 years.
Ian was an adored father to Leah and son to Pauline. Beloved big brother to Jill and Marion and uncle to Scott, Craig, Ross, Brett, Jak, Lewis and Alicia. Sadly a soon to be grandfather to a grandson. Ian was a gentle, funny and kind soul who was well respected and loved by so many. Truly one of a kind.
Please feel able to wear football hats, scarves or shirts to the service.
Family flowers only please.

Wonderful memories of our teens. Monica and I, Mac, Chas and all the rest of the crowd. Mac and Chas roaring up Scropton Lane on their scooters. Mac taking off his crash helmet letting loose a halo of hair - "Bubble" became the nickname.

Ian (Mac) was a lovely, caring, fun person who was always the life and soul of the party.

When Ian and Monica married, they had their beautiful daughter Leah, whom he adored. In later years Mac and Leah were able to go on some fabulous holidays together - such precious memories. Leah has been a wonderful daughter, he was so proud of her and her achievements.

Monica and Mac remained firm friends after they separated and Monica and Leah dedicated the last 6 months to helping him fight such a brave battle. Sadly he lost that battle and Monica was with him when he passed away.

Avery special man who will be missed by everyone who knew and cared for him.
