In loving memory of Irene Maberly who sadly passed away on 21st December 2019

Jenny Wright wrote

Richard and Jenny were so sorry not to be at your funeral, but we lovingly thought of you whilst in Mumbai. I always regarded you as my favourite aunty and will never forget how you lit up our lives and our children Laura and Nicki (+Dan and baby Paul) with your infectious personality. May you rest in peace.

When Steve brought Grandma down to Devon in the summer, she left the restaurant dancing and singing and put a smile on everyones face

Today we said goodbye to someone very special. Someone who meant the world to a lot of people.
I would like to thank everyone who came, it is lovely seeing all the people who were impacted by my grandma in oneway or another.
We will remember her for all the laughter and joy she brought along with her wherever she went.
She will always be with us, in our hearts, in our thoughts and always there with us drinking gin.

Many happy memories of my dear Auntie Lyn. A good friend to my Mum and me for 65 years. A funny, bright, caring lady who never lost her zest for life. Now off on her next exciting adventure.

An amazing lady who’s life will be celebrated for a long time to come. Even at the tender age of 99 she was up for a drag race on that scooter . Rest in peace Irene

Sweet, sweet Aunt Irene. Both George and I loved your visits to America with Steve. She was my inspiration to keep active as she herself was all her life. A fun loving and witty person who always had a comeback comment! An inspiration to all.

A spunky, inspiring woman who left behind warm memories with anyone she met. Aunt Irene was sharp and very witty. I’m sure there are lots of Irene stories! She will be remembered fondly. ❤️ To her son, Steve, who took the best care of her so that we could all enjoy her for as long as we did. Our deepest, sympathies to you, Steve.
