Carol and I met when we went to Laxon Secondary School for Girls, we went around together when we left school went to evening classes on holidays and of course dancing every week, We either went to the Lyceum Ballroom Streatham Lacarno or the Hamersmith Palais,those were the days.
Our last holiday together was in Spain 1964, that was the year we started going out with our future husbands. When I got married Carol was my bridesmaid and I hers.
Brian and I emigrated to Canada in 1973 but we still kept in touch either by letter or a phone call and when we came for a visit to the UK we always got together for a chat and to catch up on what was going on in our lives.
I will miss you my friend and will always remember the fun and times we had together.
