Easington Lane / South Hetton

After a long illness with loved ones at his side on November 28th aged 80, Billy. The beloved husband of the late Margaret. The loving dad of Julie and father-in-law of Alan. The devoted grandpa of Aaron & Louise, Elliott & Faye, great-grandpa of Macey, Bella, Poppie and a dear friend of many. Please meet on Friday December 13th for service in Independent Methodist Church, South Hetton at 11:45am. Interment to follow in Easington Lane Cemetery. All are welcome afterwards to South Hetton Cricket Club for refreshments. Family flowers only. All enquiries to Andrew Grey Funeral Directors, 30 Station Road, Hetton-le-Hole. Tel: 0191 5265800. Uncle Billy so sad that you have left us but glad you are back with aunty Margaret and free from pain. The tears run down my face as I write this some of sad feelings but most are for the happy times that we have shared as family which you were a massive part and for the happy hours worked together at South Hetton WMS Club..
This was one Christmas present that I was not expecting. God bless you and may he wrap his arms around Julie Alan and their families and let them know that we will always be there for them.

to Julie and all the family im so sorry for the loss of your dad he was always a good man with a wonderful sense of humour and he will be missed in the village my thoughts are with you at this sad time but you are right he's not suffering now I sometimes think that's for the living stay strong love June xx
