In loving memory of Lorna Mullings who sadly passed away on 25th September 2019.

A beautiful lady inside and outside with a heart for Jesus Christ. She was a wife and mother of two children and loved to cook, bake, watch Colombo and collect items with pink Flamingos.

What a wonderful blessing it was to know dear Sister Lorna. She loved the LORD and was so kind and such a blessing and encouragement to myself and all of us at Bethel Baptist Church. Even visiting her shortly before she passed away was such a sweet time of fellowship. I miss Sister Lorna very much, but I am thankful that she is now with our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ, rejoicing in Him as her faith is now sight.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4

I offer my condolences to Lorna's family. Lorna was a great friend for my mother. Lorna was someone with whom my mother could talk, share and laugh with. I just want to leave a small snippet of Psalm 23 with the family.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
May God's love and light shine upon you and comfort you during this difficult time.

Lorna was a woman of grace and integrity....with such sweetness. I had the privilege of working with Lorna at Lambeth....her support, sweet spirit and kindness was remarkable and of course her rum cake. I know she knows how much I valued how she empowered and me to do my role. My heart is truly saddened...but peace is found in knowing that as a blessed woman God she is sat with her father....rejoicing and singing. I will miss my frequent motivational quotes from her. Deeply missed never forgotten. Deepest condolences to the family.πŸ™πŸ½

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said there will be no more pain or sorrow.
He gave you the ability to make people laugh and laugh we did.
He gave you very important jobs. A wife, a mother, a sister and a friend.

The untimely death of Lorna has left us shocked, and still hard to believe she isn't with us anymore. We share in sorrow. Her memories and her presence in our lives, her infectious smile, simple and caring ways will always be remembered with happiness. Family, we know the void left behind can never be filled but may God's grace strengthen you, the peace which comes with the memories of love shared, and the love of those around you help you through the difficult times and you will get some comfort in knowing an 'angel' is watching over you!

RIP Lorna πŸ’•

Love & prayers,
Christine & family

Happy memories come and go but the memories stay forever.
I had worked with Lorna for a number of years in Lambeth, MPS.
Lorna was a hardworking member of the team .She was a dignified, respected and religious lady .She was very proud of her husband , Vince and her 2 children .
We used to travel home together and would share so many jokes, laughing until our stomachs hurt.
We often exchanged messages on WhatsApp. I will miss her.Rest in peace, Lorna. It was my pleasure to know you. God bless you.You are with your Lord and Saviour.

My beautiful Aunty, I know you have everyone laughing in Heaven, Lord knows you had them down here. You are amazing, forgiving, kind and I will miss you dearly. I have you to thank when I gave my life to the Lord and got baptized, which is the most important thing I have ever done. You told me not to be bothered with what anyone thinks and to always just be me and that everyday is your birthday because you always celebrate life, and I will do the sameπŸ™πŸ€—β€πŸ˜˜
