I work for Wolverhampton homes and I got called to a job to do at rose’s house in bhylls Lane in 2018 and after my mate and I had finished I asked rose about the Punch and Judy puppets in the landing window, she happily showed us the scrap books filled with press photos and events where her and her husband had entertained countless children and no doubt adults . I live locally in finchfield and whenever me and my wife were out walking in the evening and passing rose’s house we would always look up and smile when we saw mr and mrs punch looking down on us. I was only in her house barely an hour yet she struck me as a lovely woman and someone who I shall not forget. My sympathies to her family.
