In Loving Memory of Peter Smith

On Tuesday 8th October, Peter Smith passed peacefully while surrounded by his close family at the Home of Compassion in Thames Ditton. He is survived by his wife, Janet, daughter Alexis, son Julian and four wonderful grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all and we will remember him for all the fun times of which there were plenty. Whether at Smithfield market or the golf club, Peter was never short of a joke or two. A former pro footballer, keen cricketer and golfer, Peter not only enjoyed his sport, but was also a loving Grandfather, Father and Husband. An extraordinary man from humble beginnings who gave a lot.
