Sorry missed your birthday, but had many thoughts of you and the good times enjoyed with the family.
Ellie started at Rolls Royce full time, seems to enjoying the limelight!
Judy still fussing around the home, clearing up as only Judy can!
Alex has girlfriend - Lucy from Birmingham and just had a nice week driving down to and around the south of France.
Business steady.
Finally AJ still going strong 15 years 2 months.
Pompey and Scarborough both mid table, and Hampshire missed out on first title in years on the last day of the season!
God bless.

Another birthday passed.
Ellie back at Uni, Alex working hard, Doris hanging in there,Judy still rushing around.
Harrogate now playing well in Div 2, just beat Bradford away 1-0. Good game.
Hampshire no where in T20 this year, in fact bad year all round.
AJ struggling with back legs and his breathing, but on positive note still loving his food!
COVID virus getting worse again, although not too bad down South.

Signing off for now - God Bless.

Ron

Sometime since last note.
Well, what a time - CoronaVirus shaken the world upside down.
Doris still hanging in there, enjoying her food! and Judy's daily visits albeit short due to the virus.

Alex and Ellie have had to work from home and doing quite well at it. Alex promoted to Senior Surveyor and Ellie asked to extend working until end September.

Weather been reasonably good - AJ tummy ache last couple of days.

Bob, Jock and Phillip all keeping in regular touch.

Little indifferent for Pompey to gain promotion, in the play offs. Liverpool & Klopp certain to take Premiership.
Scarboro mid-table.

No cricket at all to date.

Catch you soon.

Ron, Happy New Year
Judy slowly packing away the Xmas decks, Doris came round to us on Christmas Day after Judy had dinner with her around at Bluebell. In fact Doris ended up playing cards (Sevens) with Ellie and Alex.
Leeds top of the Championship, Pompey struggling to rise up the table and England easily beaten in the first test match in South Africa - Bairstow only scored 10 in 2 innings.

Judy & Alex spent yesterday starting to clean up and clear the loft.

Ellie & Alex back to work tomorrow - Ellie said she would be very busy as it is RRMC year end, however she has been finishing at 1 pm !

Alex on target with commission, maybe good bonus ahead!

Catch up again soon - forgot to mention Boris Johnson won General Election and coming out of EU !

Ron, Morning.

The Christmas tree is finally up, Ellie not happy as it is not a real one.
Judy has nicely decorated it in gold.
Doris went for a Xmas meal at Pompey Football Club on Tuesday and yesterday they had their Xmas party at Bluebell - as usual Doris ate too much.
Alex off on leave for a couple of days, just chilling out and Ellie is having her RRMC Xmas party today.

Phil had his 80th birthday party and Judy and me recently went to Chilbolton and saw Bob, who was in good spirits - just had new kitchen fitted.

Scarborough 12th in the league, having won a couple of games, but unfortunately lost last 3 matches.
Pompey had a few wins of late and moving up the table.
Test match in South Africa starts Boxing Day.

Thats all for now, catch up soon.

Ron, Scarborough Athletic not doing too good this season, 16th in table, Whitby Town 12th with South Shields top - 17 matches in.
England first test against New Zealand starts tonight - only Joe Root (captain) from Yorkshire, believe Bairstow dropped as Buttler in, new opening pair, mistake as Bairstow should be opening.

That's all sports round-up for now.
Catch up with you soon.

Ellie doing good at RRMC, Alex enjoying himself, Doris steady and Judy as usual running around everywhere.

Alison & Ian Earle donated £30 in memory of Ron

It has been a pleasure knowing Ron over many years. Very fond memories of conversations about cars, cricket, football and his love of books.

Such a caring and wonderful husband, father and granddad

Rest in peace Ron.
