In loving memory of Christian Ralph Midgley, who passed away peacefully aged 46 years on 27th September 2019, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved son of Ralph and the late Angela and very dear step son to Celia. Precious fiancé and soulmate to Sharon and lovingly remembered by Jack and Charlie. Treasured brother of Jason & Debbie, Dominik & Sara and Emma & Leigh and an amazing hero and uncle to Jessica, Luke, Ben, Sophie, Jack, Ella and the late Joseph.
Donations online can be made to St Giles' Hospice. Any donations for the Medical Assessment Unit at Royal Derby Hospital, where Christian and the family received such wonderful care and attention, can be made payable to 'Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity' and may be placed in the collection box after the service or sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors.

Chris was an amazing man, a true gent with a big heart. Always there to give advice or even his shirt off his back. It’s truly been an honour to have had Chris in my life, all the happy memories will live in my heart forever. ❤️ We have lost a walking angle.
