John would have named every peak for us. Unfortunately, my mountain knowledge is that good.

John, my Uncle, and I shared a love of the Lake District, and of wild places in general. I will be enjoying Keswick immediately before the funeral - somewhere John introduced me to many years ago. For that, I will always be grateful.

Sub Officer Tipper you were a true hero a pillar of the community. I am honoured to have worked alongside you. We had some good nights out together, they may have been at farm and factory fires. We attended some tasty jobs, I always new that I and all the one tones at Tutbury could always rely on your support, you taught me so much, They really were the good old days. Thinking of you Janet and your family at this difficult time. RIP John you will be sadly missed.
