In loving memory of John Colin Campbell who sadly passed away on 30th August 2019.
John was born on the 4th December 1947 and grew up in London. Throughout his life he had strong 'cockney' roots and values! He always loved 'pie and mash' as well as 'cockles', 'mussels' etc. (much to some other peoples disgust!!)
John married Barbara in 1971 and moved to Lincoln where they have lived very happily since then. They have two children, Cheryl and David.
Throughout his life John worked as a scaffolder, later becoming a scaffold instructor. He loved his job until his retirement 6 years ago.
His real passion was fishing. This page is dedicated to John and we will all be thinking of him, at peace, fishing for that elusive carp...

John was such a lovely man, will always have fond memories of him from when I was younger and hanging around with Cheryl, to more recently, enjoying catching up with him and all the family at Cheryl and Matt's wedding. RIP John, eternally Gone Fishing! Love to you all xxx
